CSO enters 21st century in big way - ready to download Haitink/CSO Mahler 3rd from iTunes?

We'll have more on this later, but the Chicago Symphony Orchestra announced this afternoon that it will be returning to the airwaves next year - the first time since 2001 - with a 39 week series funding by BP. In addition, it will be issuing its own CD's and digital downloads, beginning with this past October's superlative performance of the Mahler 3rd conducted by Bernard Haitink.
