Natalie Moore of
Chicago Public Radio is
reporting that plans for rescuing the historic
Rosenwald Apartments on 47th, commissioned by 3rd ward alderman Pat Dowell from the
Urban Land Institute, call for a mix of residential and retail, with an optimum price tag of $100,000,000, and a scaled down version, price unrevealed. Dowell told Moore that a scattering of interest from developers has yet to evolve into any concrete plans.
