Weiler, Whiting, Witt, Woodhouse, the Willis, Walter Frazier, (W)edgar Miller - and that's just the W's: over 50 events on March calendar

OK, it would have been better if we had gotten to you sooner, but the March Calendar of Chicago Architectural Events is now on-line, and it starts out with a bang, today, Monday, March 1st, with 3 W's: Ron Witte at UIC, Susan K. Weller and Sarah Whiting at IIT, and it just keeps going. On Tuesday, there's the Burj Khalifa at SEAOI's monthly dinner meeting, and Pecha Kucha volume 13. Rich Cahan and Michael Williams discuss their superb new book, Edgar Miller and the Handmade Home, at both CAF and the Glessner House. (As usual, the month is heavily front-loaded, with 15 events just this week.)

Sarah Beardsley
of Smith+Gill talks about the green retrofit at Willis Tower for Friends of Downtown, both Landmarks Illinois and the Chicago Architecture Foundation have their big yearly galas on successive Saturdays, David Woodhouse discusses his winning design for the Burnham Memorial, Peter Schoenman of Parma Conservation discusses restoring the Nickerson Mansion and Blackstone Library for AIA Chicago, Landmarks Illinois sponsors a lunchtime lecture on the conversion of the Sears Power House in Power House High, Zoƫ Ryan is in conversation with Alice Rawsthorn at a AIC Architecture Design Society event, and back at CAF, Arthur Miller discusses his new book on Walter Frazier.

Do I even need to mention there's also much, much more? I'm sure I've left stuff out that I'll be adding soon, but right now, there's already 52 great events on the March calendar. Check them all out before they pass you by, here.
