Forget that wuss Rudolph: Chicago Santa guarded by Griffins

Winter can be tough for the rest of us, but spring and summer are the rough seasons for Santa and his reindeer, exposed by the lack of snow and darkness. But at the deliriously appointed house at Washtenaw and Logan Boulevard, Santa's position is secured by two, cat-like griffin sentries, part of an incredibly eclectic array of embellishments on what is one of our favorite houses.
