That place is great. The front is like an old 30s grocery store out of a Capra movie, they're so nice and helpful... and then you glimpse the killing floor through the windows, and it's like a Francis Bacon painting back there. Appreciate it now, it's another piece of the real Chicago that'll be gone in 5 minutes, to be replaced by yet another condo building.
