Ring a Rosy Lighting Spirals Trump Garage

The garage for Chicago's new Trump Tower is among of its most distinctive elements, and one of the few that actually approaches a human dimension. With its scalloping glass curtain wall, it provides a new visual terminus to Kinzie Street. Its lights, just turned on, create a dashed underline to the structure's continuous, spiraling parking ramp. (As you may notice, the weather in Chicago has been rather murky.)

I liked it a lot more when it was an open concrete spiral, like the John Hancock garage. It is cute though--it kind of looks like it should be part of an AMC movie theater.
