The closing of the arcade is dam tradgedy - so much for class
Thank God that the State Street exterior will be done right. However, 40 percent of the Monroe street canopy is going to be removed.
They will do this by removing 20 percent from the east end and 20 percent from the west end.
This canopy downsizing was also fought by Preservation Chicago, but unsuccessfully. Darn it!
