We just came across what should be an interesting event.
Chicago architect John Ronan, whose work includes the Gary Comer Youth Center and the new Christ the King Prep, will lecture at Price Auditorium of the Art Institute tomorrow, December 5th, from noon to 1:00 p.m., on "his own work in relation to that of Brice Marden, American Minimalist painter." The lecture is free after you've paid the museum's standard admission.
And a head's up to another interesting AIC event. On December 17, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., in Fullerton Hall, Donald Hallmark will be presenting a free lecture on Frank Lloyd Wright's Dana-Thousand house in Springfield.
