And we are SO glad it's over today!!
Where is this?
Terry - This is actually part of a 72 foot long frieze by Leon Hermant atop the 1908 former Illinois Athletic Club at 112 South Michigan, portraying Zeus presiding over the Olympics. The building is now owned by the Art Institute. Another photo of the frieze was included in my post on the Pasteur monument here: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OvonoKii_ds/TMZpchtsnqI/AAAAAAAAGgg/WiEvdGpVH9c/s1600/hermantfrieze.jpg
Thanks, Lynn. I'll look for it when I'm in town next.
