Absolut Good Time: Get Smashed
Love the red ottoman, never see that in Rogers Park.
I've heard that the JC Decaux shelters here in Chicago were designed by Robert A. M. Stern.(Also, there seems to be a ski gondola attachment to the roof of the shelter on Adams, across the street from Union Station. Some advertisement for skiing in Canada.)
how did that happen Lynn?
still not quite sure the cause, and the parties could provide the answers are being very helpful. I think it was hit by either a small truck or large person.
Someone must be expressing some rage against the design. I saw a similar pile of tattered remains yesterday at the bus shelter on Clark Street east of the Thompson Center.
Stern did design these things. Check out Blair Kamin's blog at http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/theskyline/
